From the moment a child is born they begin to learn by exploring their environment. Often naturally developing activities are not thought of in relation to specific areas. Basic finding out which relates to science is not always recognised.
This unit will help you to identify naturally occurring activities which relate to aspects of science and development. Through learning about these activities you will learn about the value of science activities for young children. It will help to develop your understanding that learning science is fun. You will learn how to safely support children and extend their learning through exploration of science activities.
